Older Toddler Lead Teacher

Job Type:

• Full-time (M-F) 7:30am-4:30pm
• Saturdays and Sundays off

Older Toddler Lead Teacher Pay:

• Full-time non-exempt starting at $30,000/year

Older Toddler Lead Teacher Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree or CDA preferred
• 2,500 hours of documented experience working with children, which can include babysitting, volunteer work, church programs, etc.
• 3 required background checks: FBI fingerprint clearances, Child abuse clearance and State police background check
• Recent health assessment and TB test

Older Toddler Lead Teacher Responsibilities:

• Must have a love for children ages 2-3
• Create weekly lesson plans
• Complete child assessments
• Conduct parent/teacher conferences
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom
• Interact with and engage all children
• Follow DHS regulations
• Consistent communication with parents
• Change diapers/pull ups and help children use the potty and encourage potty training
• Other duties as assigned
