Nick Columbus

Carlisle Family YMCA

My fitness journey began when I played football in high school. It gave me a foundation of basic strength training, but I really fell in love with working out after I joined the United States Marine Corps. In the Marines I learned the importance of an in-shape body. It wasn’t about looking and feeling good, but about being able to keep up with the mission and supporting the Marines next to me. Upon leaving service, my love for fitness grew.

I want to help our community members develop strength through thoughtful programming and exercise selection. I like to focus on building strength through the use of compound movements such as squat, bench and deadlift. I will help you build lean muscle as well. I keep up with the current fitness requirements for our military members or those wishing to join the armed forces. I would love to help you prepare for entry to military service!
