Area Age Regulations

Below are the regulations for different areas of the Y.

YMCA BUILDING

• Weekdays – Age 12 and under NOT before 2pm without an adult member
• Up to age 9 must be accompanied by an adult 19 and up
• Age 10-12 – Until 8pm unless in a program or accompanied by an adult 19 and up
• Age 13 and up have no restrictions

ADULT LOCKER ROOMS

• Ages 19 and up only

BASKETBALL COURT

• M-F (12-2pm) 19 and up only

BOYS’ / GIRLS’ LOCKER ROOMS

• All ages, gender specific
• No children over the age of 5 can use the opposite gender locker room

FITNESS CLASSES

• Ages 13 years old and up
• Studios A & B on 1st floor. Studio C & FFC on 2nd floor. Studios not for private use.

FUNCTIONAL FITNESS CENTER

• Ages 13 and up only
• Ages 13-18 years old are encouraged to schedule an orientation with a trainer
• See schedule for availability

KIDS ADVENTURE ZONE

• Youth & guests can use the Kids Adventure Zone without a parent or guardian
• A parent or guardian must remain on-site and sign in kids age 9 & under

MULTIPURPOSE ROOM

• MPR not for private use
• See schedule for availability

POOL

• Ages 8 years old and under MUST be with an adult member age 19 and up
• All ages with red bands must have a parent in the pool
• All ages with yellow bands & 8 & under with green bands must have a parent on deck
• Ages 9 years old and up with green bands have no restrictions

RACQUETBALL COURTS

• Ages 12 years old and under MUST be with an adult 19 and up
• Ages 13 -18 years old are encouraged to schedule an Intro to Racquetball session
• Ages 19 years old and up have no restrictions

WELLNESS CENTER

• Ages 13 and up only
• Ages 13-18 years old are encouraged to schedule an orientation with a trainer
