Lifeguard Certification
This comprehensive Lifeguard, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid and AED class will prepare you for employment as a lifeguard. PLEASE NOTE: These are blended learning classes. You will get a link for the online portion of the class with a deadline to complete everything. In-water skills will be tested on the dates listed below.
During the online week of your session, you must schedule a time to come into the Y for the prerequisite testing. You must be able to complete a 300-yard swim non-stop using front crawl and breaststroke and one other timed swimming test to participate in the class.
