Child sexual abuse is a pressing issue in the United States, with significant implications for youth-serving organizations such as ours. According to recent statistics, approximately 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 13 boys experience sexual abuse before the age of 18. These numbers highlight the urgent need for robust preventive measures within organizations that serve children and youth including our YMCA.
