Lifeguard Recertification
Any current lifeguard whose certification is about to expire must take this course to be recertified. Online training must be completed prior to a review of skills in the pool. A written test and practical exam will be given. Please bring your current certification card, identification, a notebook, pen, swim suit, towel, personal pocket mask and goggles. If you do not have a personal pocket mask, you can order one for $14 at the time of registration.
Participants will be required to take the CPR recertification course regardless of whether their CPR is expiring so all certifications will be on the same two-year cycle. If you register for this course, you do not need to register for the CPR class; it will be assumed you are attending both classes. The new certification is through American Red Cross and is valid for two years.
