Sports Buddies

We are excited to team up with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region to bring a sports- and fitness-focused mentoring program to the area! Sports Buddies is for boys and girls ages 7-16. Each child is matched with a screened and trained volunteer mentor (must be at least 18 years old). Matches enjoy membership privileges to the Y and are invited to monthly group activities at the Y. All matches are supported by Big Brothers Big Sisters program staff.​

Parents and caregivers of children who want to be involved with the program and interested volunteers should contact Sports Director Kelly Tyrrell.
