7th Grade Initiative

This initiative offers free Y memberships to all 7th-grade students and features Lift Zone by Comcast. The goal of the program is to inspire youth to discover their passions, develop a healthy lifestyle and gain the assets needed to avoid risky behaviors and succeed in school and life. To activate the free membership, 7th-graders should bring their school ID or report card and a parent or guardian with them to the Carlisle Family YMCA. Parents should provide the required membership information and youth can begin to use the membership benefits immediately. Registration opens September 8, 2026 and the free membership expires May 31, 2027.

Membership includes:

• Use of the Carlisle Family YMCA indoor facilities during operating hours
• Teen programs including group exercise classes and more!

Weekly Meetings

All participants must attend the first meeting, Wednesday Oct 5, 2026 at 4pm in the Ozone. During this meeting, participants will go over all the rules and do a building tour.

Leadership meetings take place on Wednesdays each week and once a month will include a guest speaker (unless otherwise noted). Mondays are our Ozone/Gaming/Social Wellness Days and Wednesdays focus on Healthy Living.

Each participant must swipe in to the building at least two (2) times a month and attend one (1) Leadership/Healthy Living meeting on Wednesday each month. Our goal is to have students and staff meet each week to build relationships and increase participation in Y activities.

The schedule with activities, speakers and meetings will be distributed once registration closes.
