Business Office Generalist
The Carlisle Family YMCA is seeking a Business Office Generalist to join our team. The position is responsible for the execution of the day-to-day operations of the Business Office. The Carlisle Family YMCA Business Office houses the Financial, Accounting, Human Resources, IT, Audit and AP/AR operations of the organization. This role will be involved with carrying out tasks in all areas of the department.
Job Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources or related field preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and balance multiple projects on a regular basis.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day operational support in the business office.
- Create monthly journals entries and bank reconciliations to prepare for end of month.
- Regularly update and maintain company policies, procedures, and handbooks
- Prepare documentation and organization of files on a regular basis in preparation for the annual audit.
- Work with departmental Directors to create and maintain job descriptions.
- Assist in the creation of the annual organizational budget.
- Provide support to Operational Directors as a subject matter expert on Business Office related topics.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with Business Office to implement.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires.
- Carryout special projects as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
