School Age Child Care (SACC) Site Director
SACC Site Supervisor Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree required, but a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
- 4 required background checks: FBI fingerprint clearances, child abuse clearance, state police background check and NSOR check
- Recent health assessment and TB test
- Experience working or volunteering with school age children preferred

Our School Aged Childcare (SACC) program is held at the W.G. Rice Elementary School in the South Middleton School District. Children enrolled in this program may attend AM care, PM care or both. AM care for the program is roughly 6:30-8:45am. PM care for the program is roughly 3:15-5:30pm. The Site Supervisor should plan to be at the program during all operational program hours. The program will not be in session during school closures. There is an alternate school-aged program offered during some school closures, Schools Out Rocks, that is hosted at the Carlisle Family YMCA and will provide shifts for the Site Supervisor on some of the days that the district is closed and the SACC program is not in session.
The SACC Site Supervisor will be present each session to include morning and afternoons Monday through Friday. The supervisor can expect to interact with the children, while also taking on some leadership responsibilities under the guidance of the program directors.
The Site Supervisor job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Staff scheduling
- Program activity planning
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organized program space
- Parent communication
- Keeping child attendance records and other minimal paperwork/record keeping
- Ensuring the program and staff are following DHS regulations at all times
- Interacting with children
- Conflict resolution with the children when needed
- Supporting and assisting counselors
- Maintaining a positive relationship with the elementary school staff and communicating when necessary
Rate of pay: $16-18 per hour
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 20-25 per week
Shift: Split shift, Monday through Friday 6:30-8:45am & Monday through Friday 3:15-5:30pm
