Sports Buddies
We are excited to team up with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region to bring a sports- and fitness-focused mentoring program to the area! Sports Buddies is for boys and girls ages 7-16. Each child is matched with a screened and trained volunteer mentor (must be at least 18 years old). Matches enjoy membership privileges to the Y and are invited to monthly group activities at the Y. All matches are supported by Big Brothers Big Sisters program staff.
Parents and caregivers of children who want to be involved with the program and interested volunteers should contact Sports Director Kelly Tyrrell.
