Speed, Agility & Quickness (SAQ) Clinic

This 4-week Speed, Agility & Quickness (SAQ) Clinic gives athletes in grades 4-12 the chance to enhance their motor skills, build joint mobility & stability and increase overall speed and quickness. Personal Trainer Shon Lewis II will work with youth and teens to develop athletic ability that allows them to compete at a high performance level.

Workouts will incorporate speed ladders, agility cones, plyometrics, core, balance, reaction and hand-eye coordination. This 4-week program is designed for all sports, levels of ability, as well as kids just looking for general fitness. Get an edge on the competition. You can be trained to become quicker, faster and more explosive.

Please note: This clinic is not limited to kids who play sports. It is for anyone regardless of fitness level, but good general fitness is recommended. No specific sport is trained. SAQ is designed to increase speed, agility and quickness in any sport, and at all levels. Be prepared to sweat and work hard following techniques that have been used nationwide with elite athletes.

Registration closes July 5. Space is limited to 20 athletes each for grades 4-7 and grades 8-12.

Fees: Members = $40 | Non-Members = $60

Schedule: Grades 4-7 - 9-10am | Grades 8-12 - 10:30-11:30am

This clinic is led by Shon Lewis II. Shon has been around high performing athletes his whole life. His dad was an Olympic athlete and is the current TEAM USA Wrestling Head Coach. Shon always had a passion for sports. He played baseball before transitioning into football and eventually sticking with basketball throughout his college and professional career. Shon started personal training full-time after the pandemic ended his professional basketball career. Over the years he learned how much he enjoys helping others reach their fitness goals.
