Child Care Center Volunteers

The Carlisle Family YMCA is looking for volunteers for our Child Care Center.

VOLUNTEER DURING OPERATING HOURS

Volunteer slots are available Monday through Friday from 3-5:30pm. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old and be willing to obtain a FBI fingerprint clearance, Child Abuse clearance, State Police background check and National Sex Offender Registry clearance. Volunteers also must complete an online Mandated Reporter training and have a health assessment and TB test completed by a doctor. This volunteer would interact with children ages 1-5 and assist with various learning activities and supervise play. This opportunity is a great resume builder and will help build experience hours working with children.

VOLUNTEER OUTSIDE OPERATING HOURS

We also are looking for volunteers for various tasks in the childcare center during non-operating hours. No children will be present during these volunteer shifts. Time slots could be Monday through Friday after 5:30pm or on Saturdays or Sundays. Tasks may include cleaning toys, cleaning windows, shampooing carpets and more.
